Users should remember that Rawlins VLE is open to anyone who has an internet connection. Any content of this type will be promptly removed and further action will be taken.

3.
Spam, anywhere on the VLE, will not be tolerated. Duplicate posts or single word posts all constitute spam and will be deleted.
4.
Users should post in a way that is consistent with "normal writing". Try not to use ‘text speak’ because this can be very difficult to understand. Do not overuse emoticons. Avoid using very large or very small text and think carefully before using coloured text. Do not write in continuous capital letters or use excessive punctuation (e.g. ! and ?) users should think carefully about who might use the VLE.
5.
Users must respect copyright laws. Copyright laws will include images, links, text and other material that is copyright to a user or an organisation. Material which is added to the VLE without written permission of the originator will have their material promptly removed.
6.
If a user posts an image to the daily bulletin they must keep it to an appropriate size as this can cause problems when viewing the VLE. If the image that the user would like to post can’t be resized then they should upload the image and create a link to it in the post. If neither action is taken when posting to the daily bulletin then the image will be resized by ICT Support regardless of its looks.
7.
Users should also respect the bandwidth of other users and sites. If you use an image tag which points to data stored on a third party system, you must receive written permission from the owner of the system. If you don't have written permission, the material will be removed.
8.
Users should not repeat Discussion Topics; if the discussion is already created the duplicate (i.e. the newest of the discussions) will be removed, so check older entries before you create a new discussion.
9.
When users are editing their profile, they should think carefully about what image they use and what text they use in the description. All users can view the profiles of other users, any material that is used that may be seen as inappropriate will be removed and the profile will be left blank.
