How can my house earn points?
There are 2 ways in which a house can earn points:

  1. For a whole house event, e.g. inter-house sporting competition.
  2. As an individual.

How do I earn points as an individual?
You will receive 1 house point every time a teacher records a positive behavior log about you.

When are the points updated?
The individual house points are added on a weekly basis. Points for whole house events are added at the end of each term.

Where are the latest house points displayed?
The latest house points are displayed on this page, along with the latest house scores.

What's the difference between house scores and house points?
The house points are used to calculate the house scores, which then determine which house is in 1st place, 2nd place, 3rd place, etc.

How are the house scores calculated?
In each category*, the house with the most points will be awarded a score of 6, the house in second place will be given 5, the house in third place will receive 4, etc. This ranking will be re-calculated each time the points are updated. This means that the maximum score a house can achieve is 18.

*The categories are as follows: Sports, Events/Activities, and Personal.

How are the positions on the league table decided?
The house with the highest score is awarded 1st place, the house with the second highest score obtains 2nd place, the house with the third highest score receives 3rd place, and so on.

Where can I find the league table?
The house competition league table can be found on the VLE home page.
